Overview
Ravenstorm was founded durring the early 15th century in winter of the year 1416, by Mademus Kovachevich. The establishment of Ravenstorm suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Ravenstorm was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ravenstorm is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Ravenstorm is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of crampt packed earth streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Ravenstorm's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Ravenstorm's top tier civilian fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
Ravenstorm is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.

POI
History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Ravenstorm was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ravenstorm lost 204 people, 238 livestock, and 22 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 74, when members of Ravenstorm's militia enacted an operation to bring aid to another fighting force. The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Ravenstorm's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ravenstorm's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
